Waste management

From construction to operation, striving to neutralise the impact of all human activity on the environment is above all a philosophy of life, an intimate conviction that every gesture can count. Thus, from the first stone laid to its daily operation, Terre Blanche multiplies active and incentive actions, both in its management and that of its partners.

SELECTIVE SORTING

Site waste is sorted by category (packaging, inert materials, hazardous materials) on site at the time of production, which facilitates its management, recovery and disposal.

VALORISATION

Partially or fully recoverable waste is reused or recovered to produce energy or green waste for fertilisation.

ELIMINATION

Non-reusable waste, known as "final" waste, is monitored until it reaches the point of storage (classified landfill or final landfill) with a waste monitoring form to prove compliance with the regulatory process.

DUST GENERATION

Dust from the earthen walkways or cement silos, by settling on the leaves, prevents photosynthesis and asphyxiates the trees.

Daily watering of the roadways and fairways under construction during the dry season has been scheduled to prevent the emission of volatile powder that impacts the plant cover.

Cement silos have been fitted with filters to eliminate any discharge into the natural environment.
